Mariah Carey Admits To Putting Her Kids’ Nannies Through Hell: ‘I Fire Nannies Like This’
Over the years celebrity moms have picked up a pretty bad reputation for treating their kids’ nannies poorly. If you recall, last spring two nannies came forward accusing Kim Porter of abusing them during their stints of employment caring for the twins she shares with hip hop mogul P.Diddy. Though Kim denied the allegations, Mariah Carey has no problem admitting that she can be the employer from hell when it comes to nannies.
“Unfortunately I have to have nannies but I’m very hands-on,” Mariah said during an interview with The Breakfast Club. “I fire nannies like this,” she said snapping her fingers.
She went on to say that while she hates being such a cut-throat, it’s absolutely essential because nannies like to make themselves more important than she is her in childrens’ lives.
“And I hate doing it, but I have to because if they try to make themselves more important in the baby’s mind than me,” she continued.
Mariah also touched on her plans for Valentine’s Day. Apparently, her hubby, Nick Cannon, will be away working.
“He’s not even gonna be home from what I hear now.”
We’d sure hate to be the nannies looking after little Monroe and Moroccan.
