Terrell Owens’ Wife Hospitalized After Rumored Suicide Attempt
Drama just seems to follow Terrell Owens wherever he goes. We already told you how the former football star’s wife of two weeks (now three) filed for divorce last week, claiming Terrell only married her for money and used her so he could get a loan to finance a $2 million dollar home in Sherman Oaks, CA. Though he denied those claims, he has an even bigger issue on his hands now. According to TMZ his new bride, former postal worker Rachel Snider, has reportedly been hospitalized after a suicide attempt.
Apparently Rachel moved back to Texas just days after she decided to leave Terrell a week ago and she’s reportedly been in the hospital ever since. Sources close to the new Mrs. Owens say the cause is a suicide attempt. Tweets from Rachel add more proof to the pudding. When a friend asked her if she was OK or sick on Twitter February 11, she replied that she was suffering from a broken heart. She told another follower that same day that she was “a little broken down.”
What follows those remarks are a series of Tweets about God and attempts at clearing up misinformation that’s been published about her and her relationship with Terrell, which prove Rachel’s short-lived time in the spotlight has been weighing on. So far Terrell Owens hasn’t commented on this news, but we’re hoping the best for Rachel.
