Want to Find a Good Mentor? Be a Good Mentee!

5) Do Your Part: Once you finally have landed a fantastic mentor to support your goals, make sure that YOU are proactive about keeping the relationship strong. Be on time- early, if you can- for all meetings. Attend events your mentor invites you to and be on point.  Send occasional ‘thank you’ cards. Schedule time to visit with him or her. At the end of the day, you have the most to gain from this relationship and it is your responsibility to make sure it develops.
