“Pull Him Close” Michelle Obama Offers Advice For Justin Bieber’s Mom

February 10, 2014  |

Justin Bieber is in the news every other day. And his recent antics, the alleged drag racing, egg throwing, spitting etc have really annoyed quite a few people. So much so that folks have started a White House petition to have Bieber deported.

While that’s probably never going to happen, it did garner significant support with over 252,782 signatures, more than twice its goal of 100,000. And since Justin Bieber is more important than health care, reproductive rights the economy or even this polar vortex that has shown no signs of letting up, Mrs. Obama, in an interview with Univsion, was asked what advice she would offer his mother. Here’s what she had to say:

“I don’t know if it would be advice as much as action,” she said. “I would be very present in his life right now. And I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know.”

Bieber’s real mom, Pattie Mallette, has already commented on her son’s recent behavior saying, “If Justin’s struggling, don’t kick him when he’s down or condemn him–pray for him.”

Personally, I’m a little confused by all of the outrage concerning Bieber. This is just the type of dumb ish teenagers do. It’s just the fact that he’s a teenager in the limelight and all of his immaturity is on display.

But that being said, I do agree with the First Lady, somebody, an adult who’s not trying to party with him in the club– looking at you Daddy Biebs– needs to be all up in his ear right now.

What do you think about Mrs. Obama’s advice for Justin’s mom? Do you think she should have spoken on this issue?
