The Harlem Fine Arts Show Goes On The Road In 2014

January 29, 2014  |

The Harlem Fine Arts Show will begin with its NYC installation at Riverside Church from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, but that’s not when it ends.

By going on tour we are taking this show to the next level,” Dion Clarke, founder of the annual Harlem Fine Arts Show, said. “We will go from New York City, on to Atlanta for four days beginning on June 26th, and then we will go to Martha’s Vineyard. This will be our third year there and last year we sold up to $1.5 million in art. Lastly, we take our tour to Chicago during Halloween weekend and we will be a part of the fabric for the Windy City.”

The New York portion of the tour, sponsored by BMW North America, will feature 90 artists from around the world who will contribute collections of contemporary paintings, sculpture and photography. Clarke said the show will not only reflect a “range of talent” but also Harlem’s “thriving community.”
