No, not Tommy Mottola, but Damion “Damizza” Young, who was a music producer for Carey, would speak out and try to profit from talking about his relationship with the diva. He actually wrote a tell-all book about his life, including his relationship with Carey, called Guilty By Association, which pushed Carey to send him a cease and desist letter. He wasn’t too happy about this, and issued an angry statement to the media about his book and her reaction to it all: 

Yes. Mariah & I dated. It was hell.

Everybody in this industry saw what I did for Mariah. And for what I did, or said, I have NO apologies. If you think for 1 second I’m afraid of Facebooks’ lawyer, that Mariah is hiding behind, you are crazy. Sweetheart, are you afraid I might say something that would end your career?
