Well, another professional athlete may be fathering a child by a woman who is not his significant other. The alleged 20-year-old mistress of Houston Texans star Arian Foster, Brittany Norwood, recently filed a restraining order against him, claiming that both Arian and his brother are pressuring her into getting an abortion.
“I’m 20. I’m scared. I’m another single mom,” a tearful Norwood said during an interview with KHOU.
The University of Houston senior says she met Arian last summer while he was staying in Houston at Hotel ZaZa during training camp.
“I still can’t believe everything, really,” she told reporters. “As soon as he got out of practice, he would text me and I would come over there and hang out.”
Though their whirlwind romance may have started out okay, things went awry quickly when Brittany learned that she was pregnant. Brittany alleges that once she told Arian about her pregnancy, both he and his brother resorted to “extreme and outrageous conduct” in their attempts to pressure her into terminating her pregnancy.
“He was like, ‘You can’t have this. You can’t have this kid,'” Brittany said. “He just kept saying, ‘I’m not ready for this. I’ll lose my kids. If my wife finds out, she’s going to take my children.
In addition to filing a child support lawsuit against the athlete, Brittany and her attorney, Douglas York, are requesting a restraining order against him. As for what she’d tell Arian if he were sitting in front of her, Brittany says she’d tell him that his absence makes things hard.
“You know, it’s hard going to ultrasounds and not having somebody there with you. I just want him to love my son the way I do.”
Arian’s reps have yet to respond to Brittany’s allegations.
