Do they offer proof of your error or oversight?

If you’ve made a mistake or error on the job and are expecting to receive feedback about it, make sure either you or your supervisor has evidence of it before approaching the situation. If you feel that you are being criticized for an issue you have no knowledge of, ask to see some sort of proof of the specific mistake you made so that you can not only validate it, but learn from it for next time. You don’t want to receive backlash for something you did not do.
