If you ask me, the network TLC has been doing reality television right for years. “A Baby Story” anyone? And it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot again. In the first episode of their new series, “Sex Sent Me to the ER,” a group of actors reenacted the story of a woman, Liz from Seattle, who had an orgasm that lasted three hours.

It sounds like something that would make for a great extended joke in a romantic comedy but to actually go through it was not all that funny at all. Initially, Liz said it was one of the most pleasurable orgasms of her life until she couldn’t come down. An hour into her climax, she was over it and was trying everything she could think of to make it stop.

“I started hopping up and down to see if that would do anything. I started trying to drink wine to see if that would calm down my system. I tried just about every possible thing I could do to stop having an orgasm.”

By the second hour, Liz and her partner Eric decided it was time she go to the emergency room. The medical staff and even a few people in the waiting room thought Liz was in labor.

Can you imagine being in such an ordeal? Have you ever experienced anything even remotely similar to this? What do you think you would have done in this situation?
