Whether it’s standing up when you receive a phone call or walking over to a coworker instead of sending him/her an email, your body is designed to move. Sitting down in a chair for hours upon hours has a negative impact on your health. Set visual reminders to stand up after a predetermined amount of time (i.e. every 20 to 30 minutes). Create reminders in your smart phone, calendar alerts in your email and/or purchase a physical alarm clock to find  the perfect balance between sitting and standing.
