Kenya Moore Defends Negatively Commenting On Kandi’s Weight
Kenya Moore just loves breaking the G-code. If she’s not texting someone else’s husband, she’s doing something else inappropriate—like making negative comments about another woman’s weight. In case you missed this week’s episode, Kandi and Kenya got into a heated exchange after Kandi showed up late for NeNe’s Savannah send-off because she needed to make a stop at Chick-fil-A. Now Kenya’s trying to defend and sort of clean up the comment she made about Kandi being able to afford to “skip some meals.”
“I made a wise crack at Kandi saying she could skip a meal,” the former pageant queen wrote in her recent Bravo TV blog. “Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I’m sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose.”
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star then went on to comment on her own weight.
“I’m not a tiny girl myself, and I appreciate a woman with curves,” said Kenya. “I won Miss USA at 128lbs and I’m now a healthy 145-150lb at 5’10.”
And of course, entered a shameless plug for her fitness DVD “Booty Boot Camp.”
“As women, we know 5lbs is everything to us, but I simply encourage all women to be healthy. My best selling workout DVD “Booty Boot Camp” is available worldwide on Amazon.com.”
Being that this is coming from the very same woman who just last season told another co-star that her “body looks like sh**,” I think it’s safe to say that Kenya still doesn’t get it.
