The late co-founder of Apple Inc., Steve Jobs, found himself in his element when he interned for Hewlett-Packard’s president, William Hewlett, in high school. According to Entrepreneur, the creative and innovative high schooler boldly asked Hewlett for parts to use for a school project, in which the president not only gave, but offered him a summer internship as well. There at Hewlett-Packard, Jobs met Steve Wozniak, whom he collaborated with later to help invent the first Apple computer and co-found the technology empire Apple Inc.
