Back in October Chris Brown was arrested and charged with felony assault for his alleged involvement in a D.C. brawl during Howard University’s homecoming weekend. According to reports, Brown and an unnamed man exchanged words outside of the W Hotel and Brown started punching him in the face. Though the situation was damaging enough, fans were also concerned about what this would mean for the current probation sentence that he is still carrying out as a result of his 2009 domestic violence assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Brown recently appeared before a judge for a progress hearing and according to TMZ, the judge ruled that his D.C. altercation violated laws that he’s required to follow while on probation. As a result, his probation was revoked. The judge; however, did not remand the “Love More” singer into custody, expressing that he was pleased by the amount of progress Chris has made in anger management rehab. Chris has also been prohibited from medical marijuana for the time being. Another hearing regarding this matter has been scheduled for February and there’s a possibility that Brown will have to serve time in prison.
Chris seems to be living life on a rather slippery slope. Hopefully anger management is helping him to turn his life around.
