Evelyn Lozada Doesn’t Care That You Think She’s Too Old To Have A Baby
Last month we learned that former “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada is six months pregnant with her second child. Initially, folks were just curious about whose baby Ev is carrying. Now that it’s been established that she’s pregnant by Los Angeles Dodges player Carl Crawford, sly comments about her decision to have a baby at 38 years old are supposedly being tossed around. This is something that we find to be rather odd, as folks seemed pretty accepting of Halle Berry and Kim Fields’ pregnancies and both ladies are well into their 40s. But Ev says she’s not too concerned with how people feel about her pregnancy.
“I think that when God blesses you with a child, then that’s the right time,” the mom-to-be said during part two of her interview with omg! Insider. “And if people want to say I’m old, then hey, that’s fine. It doesn’t bother me. I think right now is the perfect time for me because I’m older and I feel like I can really enjoy this moment.”
As for the sex of the baby, she says she doesn’t know yet, but a baby boy would be nice.
“Not yet. I have an appointment next week. I would love to have a boy because I have a girl.”
Ev also discussed whether or not she thinks the new baby will slow down her fast-pace lifestyle.
“I like to be able to you know be out there, whether it’s the book tour, or the clothing line. I don’t want to just be a stay-at-home mom. I want to be able to work as much as I can. Yea, I will have a book tour next summer, and I will have my little one with me.”
