‘I Know People Grow:’ Future’s Baby Mama On Whether Or Not She Still Thinks He Will Change On Ciara

Earlier this year, Brittni Mealy, the mother of Future’s son, came forward and blasted the rapper for switching up on her after he got signed. She also offered a few words of warning to her ex’s now-fiancée, Ciara.

“I know the real ‘him,’ the part she [Ciara] doesn’t know,” Brittni said. “They are just ‘honeymooning’ right now. Everything always seems perfect in the beginning.”

Apparently things have changed. Last month CiCi shared a photo of herself with Brittni and the mother of Future’s daughter, and now Brittni is saying that she and Future have put their different aside for the sake of their child and are working together to raise their son.

“We’ve had issues in the past, but now we’re working together to be great parents to our son,” the exotic dancer-turned-entrepreneur told EURWeb. “I’m maturing as a woman. I’m starting to open up and see things Future’s way a little you know compromise a little. We’re getting along and I just want to keep it that way because it’s so much better and easier this way. I’m a better person and I thank God for that and I pray every day and I’m big on trying to stay positive.”

She also discussed the photograph of herself, CiCi and Future’s daughter’s mother.

“It wasn’t even planned like that. It just happened. Sometimes it’s the best way for things to happen. We had a good time. I felt like it was genuine. It wasn’t planned and he wasn’t in the room with us when we were taking photos. I’m looking forward,” said the Pop of Junk Boutique owner.

“There was no conversation had. You know how you can just say something without having to say it. Everybody spoke and as we traveled from place to place, everybody warmed up. Everything just happened naturally.”

As for whether or not Ciara should prepare for Future to pull a Houdini after they have a child together, like she once claimed he did with her, Brittni says it’s a tough call.

“I mean now, I can’t say because I know people grow. If he’s happy, I wish nothing but good luck and I wouldn’t wish anything negative on him or her or their relationship.”

Well, everyone seems to be in a better place, which is great since there are children involved.
