Can you think of many white female rappers? Well, Ryan Seacrest obviously can. Seacrest, who has his hands in a number of television projects, including the show you love to hate, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is producing the forthcoming VH1 docu-series, Girls in the Game.
The multimedia personality will executive produce the six-episode series following the trials and tribulations of a group of up-and-coming white female rappers aspiring for rap superstardom, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The show’s cast and premiere details have yet to be announced by the network, but hopefully it will fare better that Seacrest’s attempt to acquire and rebrand the VH1 channel VH1 Soul two years ago. Those talks ended without a deal.
Not only does Seacrest host American Idol television show and “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” radio show, he also launched AXS TV with partner Mark Cuban and entertainment promotion giant, AEG. Ryan Seacrest Productions produces KUWTK and Married to Jonas. It also produced Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, and the Emmy Award-winning ABC reality series Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.
Will you watch Girls in the Game?
