If you ask me one of the absolute best things about watching a football game played between two black colleges is listening to the marching bands. And not just listening to the bands but watching the dancers, specifically the drum majors. They add a certain pizazz that is synonymous with the funk and soul you can feel during the performances. It’s cool
So cool that 5 year old Taranza McKelvin Jr. wanted to be a part of it. They signed him up for the high school’s band camp and eventually this high school put him on the front lines to perform at the annual Muck Bowl, a game that attracts a crowd of up to 25,000 people. And while you might assume a five year old would be freaked out by all those people and stand out there in a stupor, Taranza is putting in work. If you don’t believe me, check out this video of his performance with Belle Glade, Florida’s Glades Central High School.
