Wendy Williams Advises NeNe Leakes To Stay Away From Kenya Moore: ‘She’ll Pull You Back Down’

November 8, 2013  |

Despite their little falling out a few months ago, Wendy Williams still wants to see her estranged friend, NeNe Leakes, win. While discussing Sunday night’s season six premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta on her daytime talk show, the self-proclaimed Queen of All Media addressed the little word exchange between NeNe and co-star Kenya Moore, which took a turn for the worse after Kenya pulled on NeNe’s ear. Just like the rest of us, Wendy thought Kenya crossed the line with that little stunt.

“First of all, you never violate and touch somebody in their space. That right there was a grown woman punched in the face about to happen,” Wendy said.

She went on to add that she’s surprised NeNe didn’t retaliate with violence.

“I’m surprised that NeNe didn’t overreact to that, which in my book, she would have had a right

Of course, she commended NeNe for have grown enough to walk away–because we’re all aware of what season one NeNe would’ve done if placed in that situation.

“NeNe, don’t let Kenya pull you back to NeNe Season 1 of Housewives. You’ve come way too far in terms of your Hollywood growth and you’re back together with Gregg,”

As if all of that weren’t enough, Wendy added that she believes NeNe has outgrown the Bravo franchise and that she should probably make an exit soon.

“I’m actually hoping that this might be the last season that you’re on the show … not because I don’t like you, but just because the Housewives are subpar to what you built yourself to be,” she said.

“Just watch it … Kenya, if you’re not careful, she’ll pull you right back down to where you started and you don’t want that to happen,” she continued.

What did you think of the ear pull? Is Kenya trying to bring out the old NeNe?
