There’s a reason why businesses have business hours. You need to take a break! It doesn’t matter if you work a traditional 9-to-5 schedule or have varying shifts, when you are scheduled to work, work. On the flip side, when you aren’t scheduled to work or once the work day ends, check out until the next business day. This means no taking worth home with you or answering work-related calls and emails. It’s just not fair to your other commitments who want your attention just as much as your job.

Tip: When you aren’t working, don’t talk about it.
