“Basketball Wives” Ends With The Return Of Kenya Bell, Who Does Her Best Beyoncé Impression And Fights Suzie
Did you hear? The sixth season of Basketball Wives has come to an end after a pretty dull and ratings-dipping season. I think after last season, people were just worn out, including cast members. While the episodes have gone on, cast members have publicly denounced the program, including Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada, who claim they have their own reality shows on the way. But Basketball Wives definitely didn’t go out quietly, as last season’s cast member, Kenya Bell, known for wanting to have Beyoncé’s singing career and getting a bottle thrown at her by Lozada, returned to perform a new song for the ladies. It was mad awkward.
After she put on a performance that dropped the jaws of her former castmates (why was she so out of breath though!?), Bell invited the ladies to her place to talk about her new song “Hate Me.” When Suzie Ketcham’s messy behind, who didn’t get along with Bell last season, felt that she could be one of the haters talked about in the song, she decided to tell Bell that she didn’t give a you know what about her. For some reason, that wasn’t enough, as Ketcham decided to jump really hard, get up, and throw something at Bell. After that, the camera panned away and next thing we know, Ketcham stood up with a scratched up and bleeding face while Bell looked exactly like she did before the scuffle. As Tami put it, “I’m just gonna go on and say that Suzie got her a** beat.”
The messiness was on level 10 as it was clear folks were trying to attract viewers for the very last episode of the season, but I think it’s time for Shaunie to throw in the towel on this one. Check out Bell’s performance and the confrontation between herself and Ketcham below, and let us know what you think. Does this need to be the last season of Basketball Wives?
