Miley Cyrus Compares Sinead O’Connor To Amanda Bynes; O’Connor Goes All The Way In

October 4, 2013  |

No more playing nice for Sinead O’Connor.

We told you yesterday how the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer wrote an open letter to Miley Cyrus to let her know that with all her constant unclothed wrecking-ball riding and foam finger action, she’s compromising her integrity and putting foolery over her actual talent. While the letter could come off harsh to some, it was honestly just a wake-up call:

The music business doesn’t give a s*** about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it’s what YOU wanted… and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.

I repeat, you have enough talent that you don’t need to let the music business make a prostitute of you.”

But Cyrus didn’t hear all of that. Instead, she heard a diss of sorts, and decided to respond with a diss of her own. She poked fun at a nervous breakdown O’Connor had two years ago and compared her to Amanda Bynes:

Well that’s not funny…

Feeling seriously disrespected after simply trying to give Miley some advice she NEEDS to take heed of, O’Connor went from trying to help Cyrus to going all the way in on her in yet another open letter. Here’s a short tidbit from the long letter where she even went as far as saying Miley was going to hear from her lawyers:

“Miley… Really? Who the f**k is advising you? Because taking me on is even more f**kin’ stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism. You have posted today tweets of mine which are two years old, which were posted by me when I was unwell and seeking help so as to make them look like they are recent. In doing so you mock myself and Amanda Bynes for having suffered with mental health issues and for having sought help.
I mean really really… who advises you? have you any idea how stupid and dangerous it is to mock people for suffering illness? You will yourself one day suffer such illness, that is without doubt. The course you have set yourself upon can only end in that, trust me. “

Miley once again decided to respond, letting her know that she doesn’t have time to write open letters, but that they could meet up and settle whatever differences they have:

“Sinead. I don’t have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week.

So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :)”

But O’Connor quickly shut down any possibility of that, with yet another open letter:

“I have no interest whatsoever in meeting you. You had plenty of time yesterday to abuse Amanda Bynes .. an entirely innocent party.. and myself.. who also did nothing to deserve your abuse.. along with every other sufferer of mental health problems and every person who suffered abuse at the hands of priests.
You can take five minutes today between g- string f**kin’ changes to publicly apologise and remove your abusive tweets. If you do not then you don’t give a s**t who you mock and what damage you do by being so ignorant…Cease behaving in an anti-female capacity. You will become the victim of it shortly. Soon it will be you the media ‘crazy’ .. and you will not enjoy it.. and you will appreciate people (like myself) standing up for you. Which I will be happy to do.. if you earn my respect today by apologising publicly.”

She hasn’t apologized for her mocking of mental illness as of yet, and seeing how Cyrus is trying to pretend she’s a bad a**, I doubt she’ll step up and do so. Yikes! Who knew all of this would turn left so quickly?
