It looks like there’s more drama brewing on the set of VH1’s popular drama, Single Ladies. The dramedy’s star, LisaRaye McCoy recently took to Instagram to call out her costar Charity Shea, who plays April on the show. It all began when Chairty posted a photo collage featuring all of her Single Ladies costars, except LisaRaye.
“It’s a wrap #singleladies3! Thank you to all cast, crew, @vh1 @flavorunitent and everyone on the team of SL for a fantastic season!” Chairty wrote before tagging her costars and a few members of the production team.”
Fans quickly noticed the “subtle shade” and called Charity out for excluding LisaRaye. In no time, Charity responded, expressing that she was unaware that LR had an Instagram account.
“I did not know LRaye had an IG!! Of course @thereallraye1,” she wrote.
LisaRaye, however, must not have been totally convinced by Charity’s explanation because she responded with her own feisty post.
“Wow really @Charitygram? You acknowledge everyone but me? Seems you’ve forgot who was number one on the call sheet. #totaldisrespect #immature #single ladies #vh1. Am I wrong y’all?”
Now the dispute could be for real, or it could be a simple ploy to drum up ratings and anticipation for the upcoming season. On the other hand, this wouldn’t be the first time that talk of a dispute between two of the show’s leading actresses leaked. If you recall, Stacey Dash was quickly replaced by producers after season one of Single Ladies due to a few disagreements on-set. There was also that rumored beef she had with LisaRaye.
