He Sees ‘Nothing Wrong’: Check Out Johnny Mo Singing a Gospel Song To The Tune of “Bump-N-Grind”

September 8, 2013  |

There are times when all you can do is shake your head and Johnny Mo surfacing on YouTube is one of those times.

For some reason, a video uploaded by Johnny Mo a year and a half ago has surfaced and its contents have people up in arms.

Last year, Mr. Mo appeared on Atlanta Live, where he performed “I Don’t See Nothing Wrong With Living For Jesus Christ.” Sounds like a safe enough title, right? Well, it was all good until the beat dropped and he started singing.

See, the main problem is that the song is set to R. Kelly’s “Bump-N-Grind” beat. Yes, that “Bump-N-Grind.” Johnny simply changed the lyrics to fit his message about living for Jesus. And he sees no problem with it. According to EURweb, Johnny Mo had this to say about his music:

“God is raising up a new standard in young people to go back into the enemy’s camp and take back what was taken front he body of Christ and put it back into the body of Christ.

He had to know that this would eventually gain a lot of attention and that more than likely, people would be unhappy with him using the beat of such a sexual song to promote his love for Jesus. There are a bullion other songs that he could have used so picking this one seems to be a poor choice.

But really? Those “braids,” that suit and that terrible voice to go with the song? It looks like just one big ball of “NO.” But we want you to check out the video above and let us know what you think.
