‘I Don’t Do Twitter Beef:’ Michelle Williams Wants To Sit Down With Keyshia Cole
Remember that time when Destiny’s Child reunited on the Super Bowl stage for an epic performance and Keyshia Cole put a damper on it all by saying mean things like, Michelle Williams is always “f***ckin’ the groove up?” Well, Michelle is finally ready to talk about what happened; not with us (although we’d totally love that), but with Keyshia, surprisingly. If you recall, Michelle has yet to directly address the comments that Keyshia made about her, but during a recent interview with Philly’s Hot 107.9, the “If We Had Your Eyes” singer revealed that she wants to have a face-to-face chat with the troubled Keyshia.
“I don’t even do Twitter beef.”
“I can’t wait to see [Keyshia Cole] in person so we can talk and say ‘Hey, what happened?'” Michelle told PMS Morning Show hosts.
She also admitted that she’s a big fan of Keyshia’s.
“I will say this, I was a major fan of hers. That’s my first time even saying that.”
“I understood her story and was rooting for her. I have a little sister that’s adopted. My little sister’s mother was a crack addict. My little sister was born with crack coke in her system, so when I see someone like Keyshia Cole, who is defying the odds, doing her thing and taking care of her family…. She was somebody I was rooting for, because I could understand where she was coming from .”
As for Keyshia’s not-so-nice comment, Michelle says she isn’t holding a grudge.
“It’s all good, people make mistakes, I don’t hold that against nobody, I wish everybody the best. I want everybody to win! People say the wrong things in the heat of the moment, maybe she didn’t mean it. I don’t care. I love you.”
She’s such a class act.
Listen to Michelle’s interview here. Do you think Keyshia would agree to sit down with her?
