OWN Network has revealed plans to debut a new  docu-series called “Crazy.S*xy.Life.” The reality series carries the essence of “Sex And The City” as it unfolds the series of personal and professional events in the lives of four Harlem, New York women. The cast of the show includes Kiyah, a celebrity hairstylist and the sista-friend who brought the other three women, Chenoa, Bershan and Tiffany, together. The quartet has been for friends for ten years now, with two of the women being married and the other two single.

The edge “Crazy.S*xy.Life” has on other reality shows involving black women is the realness of their relationships and the absence of the stressful drama we often see play out in other reality shows.

Kiyah is a 40-something year old whose biological clock is clicking loudly, but not loud enough for her 27- year- old boyfriend to hear.

Chenoa is living her life as stay at home mother who put her professional photography career on hold to build a family with her husband. Unfortunately, she  finds herself $150,000 in debt for fertility treatments which makes her unsure if she wants to continue to participate in a traditional marriage anymore.

Bersan and Tiffany are both breast cancer survivors, but the two are not the best of friends despite being in the same circle and overcoming the same major disease. Bersan enjoys being the wife to a wealthy husband but finds it difficult to shed her highly independent attitude. Tiffany is the free spirit in the group; she owns a fashion house in Soho and believes she does not need to be co-dependent on anyone to survive.

As the cameras follow these women, they tackle life’s various challenges, romances and even engage in a little competition, all while providing unwavering support for one another.  The OWN Network will air a sneak preview of  ‘Crazy.S*xy. Life’  immediately after  the season finale of the network hit “The Haves And The Have Nots” at 10 pm on September 3, 2013 . The actual series won’t debut until early 2014.
