Tia Mowry-Hardrict Vents About ‘Insulting’ Pregnancy Rumors
Back in April, rumors began to circulate that Instant Mom actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict was expecting her second child. It appears that the baby talk was triggered after a photo of the 35-year-old actress— sporting what appeared to be a slightly protruding baby bump— surfaced on the web. In no time, Tia’s reps came forward denying the rumors, but we never received an actual reaction from Tia. Well, until now that is.
During a recent episode of the Style Network reality show that she shares wit her twin sister, Tia & Tamera, Tia addressed the rumors, revealing that she was extremely bothered by the reports, which she believe posed a threat to her career.
“Being told you have a baby bump when you work out is a pretty big insult,” Tia said.
“It’s not a nice feeling when someone thinks that you’re pregnant when you’re not pregnant,” she continued.
She went on to say that these speculations could’ve been extremely damaging to her career.
“I have to have my manager clarify if this is a rumor or not,” she said before expressing that the character she’s playing her new Nickelodeon television show, Instant Mom, is not supposed to be pregnant.
“I can’t have that mistake happen again. I can’t risk walking into a meeting and having executives think I’m pregnant,” she finally added.
What do you think of Tia’s reaction?
