‘How A Wack N***a Gonna Write My Sh**?’ Nicki Minaj Blasts Rapper Claiming He Wrote Her Rhymes
While I’m not Nicki Minaj’s number one fan, I love the no-nonsense attitude she has when it comes to men in the industry. A mixtape rapper, who goes by the name of Ransom, recently released a track titled, “Man Alone.” The track has been causing quite a bit of controversy because in one line, he claims he wrote verses for the “Starships” rapper back in the day.
“Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs, I was doing verses for her, just hoping she made it big,” the lyrics read.
This of course is a huge deal, as Nicki prides herself in being one of the only female emcees who never used a ghostwriter. TMZ caught up with Nicki last night and asked her what she thought of his claims. While she did work with Ransom back in her mixtape days, she denies using a ghostwriter.
“What?! I rap better than him. Is he crazy?” Nicki initially responded before asking when Ransom made the allegations.
“Yo, I’m not even a man and n****s got my d**k in they mouths. Are you f***ing serious? I’m undisputed because I’m the only female rapper that since day one… I don’t need no motherf***ing ghostwriter,” she added.
“So if you telling that lie, you must be real desperate and you still ain’t gon’ pop! How about that?” she finally spat.
In the words of Jay-Z, “if you really put me on, put yourself on then.”
