Be assertive, not aggressive

Group interviews are not the time for you to be aggressive as managers are on the lookout for people who might not sync well with others. While you shouldn’t keep quiet all the time (that can also look bad), be careful not to bulldoze over people. You may think it shows initiative, but it really doesn’t. Instead, be assertive speaking up for yourself but also leaving the floor open for others.
