Making Beauty Simple

The beauty and body care line Georgia by Jody Patterson, under the company Georgia by G and Company, was founded by two busy moms — Patterson and Kiara Ellozy — who were looking for a way to make their beauty routines faster and simpler. They use natural ingredients to treat modern hair and skin issues. According to their website, the products  are inspired by a range of cultures — African American, Ghanaian, Swiss-German, Vietnamese, Canadian and Egyptian. Ellozy is from Ghana, and grew up in Boston, Ghana and Canada. She travels often to Egypt to visit her in-laws. Patterson is  African American and has traveled the globe.
