Oh Really? La La Anthony Writing A Relationship Book To Help Women Find Happiness In Their Love Lives!

July 13, 2013  |

Apparently being in a movie based on a relationship book isn’t enough for one star.

That’s right, La La Anthony is adding “author” to her resumé as she is set to release her first book. According to Us Magazine, The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness, co-authored by Karen Hunter, will be released in January 2014 and follows Anthony’s happy times and stumbling blocks on her way to finding her true love. She, of course, is married to New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony’s book will discuss how she dealt with horrible dates, backstabbing friends and her overall view on how women can find happiness and true love. She told Us:

“I’m so excited to be sharing my insights on love and relationships.  I hope this book shows women that they can overcome obstacles in their love life and be truly happy!”

Okay, let’s just go there about what many of you are already thinking. First, La La and Carmelo got married in 2010 after a six year engagement; many were surprised they finally made it down the aisle. Over the past few months, rumors have been heavy that the couple isn’t even together anymore. Those rumors were most notable from January-March of this year when there were reports that they weren’t living together.

Although they have both vehemently denied the reports of separation or divorce, they’ve not been seen together very often with the exception of special events (most recently, they were spotted at Amar’e and Alexis Stoudemire’s wedding).  The idea of her writing a relationship book, especially one detailing how she finally got down the aisle, might raise a few eyebrows.

Luckily for Anthony, Karen Hunter is a very respected author and if anyone can make a non-relationship expert sound knowledgeable, it’ll be her.

Do you think La La Anthony can offer any helpful hints about finding love and happiness?
