Winning! Judge Throws Out Kenya Moore’s Eviction Judgement

July 10, 2013  |

Things are finally looking up for Atlanta Housewife Kenya Moore when it comes to those eviction troubles. Today an Atlanta Magistrate Court Judge tossed out the former landlord’s eviction judgement.

A few weeks ago, we reported that a judge had ruled in her landlord’s favor, saying that Moore had failed to pay $848 and would officially be evicted. But Kenya told Wendy Williams that she never even knew of the assigned court date and wasn’t there to defend herself. She told Wendy that she had paid the women nearly $60k in rent.

And today she was able to prove it in court.

Moore released a statement to TheYBF.com about her court room triumph:

“Today’s victory proves that celebrities can fight back and not be victimized by people who wish to lie about them and use their name for the sake of publicity.”

But it’s not entirely over. Kenya will be back in court later this month on July 18 to argue her counter claim for illegal eviction, slander and defamation of character.

We’re glad to hear this worked out for Kenya. We know she’s a little…eccentric and narcissistic but it does seem like this landlord lady really had it in for her.

Now onto to these counter suits. Do you think her luck will continue in court?
