If you weren’t aware, yesterday was Jaden Smith’s birthday. He turned 15, which is a surprise seeing as how it feels like he should be like 17 by now, as many years as he’s been exposed in the entertainment industry. Anywho, there has been talk for a while that the After Earth star and Kylie Jenner (the youngest sister to Kim Kardashian and crew) have been dating, as they’ve been seen holding hands in public, and hanging out overseas. For his birthday, she called him her “best friend” on Instagram, posting a picture of herself and Smith. And while that was kind of cute in a puppy love way, Kris Jenner decided to outdo her daughter since she doesn’t know how to sit down somewhere, and professed her own form of love for Will and Jada’s son.

Posting the above picture on Instagram, she captioned it: “Happy Birthday @iputthesocietyonmyback I love you Jaden!! Have the BEST day ever!! #bestkidever”

I can’t help but notice that Jaden is giving one of the fakest smiles ever caught on camera as Kris, bedecked in a fur hat and fur collar, snuggles up close to him. I wonder what Will would think about Jaden getting so cozy to the Kardashian/Jenner family (including kicking it with them for the Fourth of July) after he dismissed comparisons between his family, the Kardashian clan and their love of fame in New York magazine:

“For our family, the entire structure of our life, our home, our business relationships—the entire purpose is for everyone to be able to create in a way that makes them happy. Fame is almost an inconsequential by-product of what we’re really trying to accomplish. We are trying to put great things into the world, we’re trying to have fun, and we’re trying to become the greatest versions of ourselves in the process of doing things we love. So the idea of fame or exploitation or orchestrating the media is sometimes even less than desirable for us….It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane.”

Interesting indeed. So how would you caption this very “cozy” picture?
