Make A Successful Complaint At Work

People don’t like to be labeled as a troublemaker at work, but there may come a time when you have to point out problems to improve work conditions.

Document the problem and request a sit-down with your manager. If the boss is the problem, take notes during the meeting so you can take the situation a step further with accurate information if necessary.

“You may find your issues actually being resolved by now but in many cases they may have gotten worse because of the meetings you have had with your boss. Keep recording incidents in your diary and building up a case file and then follow official procedures to climb further up the chain,” notes The Random Forest. “Just don’t let it consume you and keep on doing your job as well as you can.”
