No Really, Don’t Call It A Comeback: Foxy Brown Takes A Tumble In A Leopard Catsuit While Performing In NYC

July 1, 2013  |

We were recently just talking about how at last night’s BET Awards, the women in the Best Female Hip Hop Artist category were a bit on the “WHO!?” side aside from Nicki Minaj and Eve. And while Minaj is dominating the game right now, many of rap’s favorite ladies from the past are in the process of making a comeback, just as Eve has tried to do. We already know Lil Kim has been working hard, but so has Foxy Brown apparently, as she had a show in NYC this past weekend. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out the way she planned. As in, her booty had a meeting with the floor before she could really even get started.

Decked out in a leopard catsuit with some blinged out and heavy-looking belts around her torso (to match the equally blinged-out bracelets and bag she had on her), and extremely long ombre extensions, Brown seemed amped to be back on stage and her fans were equally excited. She went on to perform her new song, “Bands Up,” only to have that all disrupted damn near 30 seconds later when she tripped and fell in front of the crowd. She was quickly picked up as she slowly moved off the stage, even limping. Luckily, Brown returned to the stage, but alas, there’s never video of the positive moments, right? Maybe it was her shoes that caused the fall, or maybe the stage was too small, because there are points in the video where you can see her looking down multiple times at the ground as if she’s trying to avoid stepping on (or off) something. Sadly, she still took a tumble.

Check out the video for yourself, the fall happens around the 1:50 mark, and let us know what you think. Please excuse all the profanities spoken by her throughout the video.

Yep, It seems that she’ll have to wait a little bit longer for that big comeback performance…
