“This Is Absolutely Absurd” Kenya Moore Speaks Out About The Eviction
Yesterday, we were able to confirm that RHOA star, Kenya Moore had officially been evicted from the Atlanta home she’d been renting.
We knew something seemed a little amiss when Kenya’s landlady claimed that Moore didn’t pay $848 of her $3,999/month rent. Now, we don’t know Kenya’s pockets, but we all found it hard to believe that she couldn’t scrounge up a little over 800 bucks. It didn’t make much sense, especially with the reality show checks she’s been cashing. So we were happy to see that Kenya called in to Wendy Williams show during her “hot topics” segment, to discuss what’s really going on, from her point of view.
Why the judge ruled in the land lady’s favor
We never got notice of our court date so that’s going to be overturned and we’ll have another court date, so it isn’t over until the fat lady sings.
Secondly, this is absolutely absurd. I paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit of mine. I have paid her May rent and paid her June. And my lease is up in three weeks. So this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.
Based on what Kenya said, it would seem that Kenya’s landlord has a personal vendetta against her. Wendy asked Kenya why does she have it out for her.
I don’t know if it’s necessarily so personal, but the tea is Wendy, it gets a little complicated, but she’s taking her ex husband back to court. I can’t help it if I live a fabulous life and she can no longer afford to be in the house.
And in true Wendy fashion, things got petty when she asked Kenya is she was prettier than her landlady.
Oh, I’ll send you a picture Wendy. I’ll post it on my Instagram tomorrow, you be the judge.
Whether the landlady made a habit of going into the home and looking through Kenya’s things.
Well, when I didn’t move out when she wanted me to– because she has to give me 60 day notice–I have no problem, I don’t want to be anywhere where I’m not wanted. I can find another house, done. And it was just like every other day, she was coming in and out of the house. It has gotten really crazy. I almost had to get a restraining order against her. That’s how scared I was, to where we had to put up cameras.
The final word
I’m hoping that we’ll have a great outcome next week. And when this is over with, you know losers never win. And she will know when it’s done, don’t come for me unless I send for you.
