SMH: Kenya Moore Is Officially Homeless

June 19, 2013  |

Kenya Moore better get to keeping up her end of her bargain, because without a husband or a home I’m really trying to figure out how she qualifies as a “Real Housewife of Atlanta.” We reported earlier this month that the reality TV star was facing eviction, and now Radar Online has exclusively confirmed that she’s officially been given the boot.

The issue was Kenya’s failure to make the full rent payment for May, falling short $848. Her landlord, Conya Weems, filed a lawsuit demanding those funds and also alleged that the reality star had defaulted on a number of terms and conditions of the lease – like cutting her grass and making the property on which the $3,999/month mansion was located presentable. When Kenya didn’t show up in court to dispute the complaint, a Fulton County, GA, judge, ruled in favor of the landlord, who told Radar Online:

“I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County. The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately.  I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home.”

An additional source told the site Kenya may not have to vacate the premises immediately, although she’ll want to get a head start on moving her things out, saying:

“Since the landlord is out of town on business, it may be a few days before Kenya has to officially leave because the Sheriff may require the landlord to be there for eviction. But if Kenya is wise, she’s packing right now.”

Wonder if Andy and #TeamBravo will help her out.
