Best known for her hit “The Glamorous Life,” as well as for being Prince’s drummer back in the day, Sheila E reached out for her religion during tough times. After quitting her job as the drummer in Prince’s band and suffering from various health issues, she started reading the Bible for help, guidance, and solace. While recovering, she promised that if she was given another chance, she would do anything for the Lord.
