Can one still be called a housewife if they have no house to live — or film — in? That’s the question on my mind based on news from RadarOnline.com that “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore is one step away from being homeless.
According to the site, the reality TV actress’s landlord has filed a lawsuit to have her evicted from the $3,999/month mansion she lives in due to failure to make rent payments. For some reason, Kenya was reportedly a little short — $848 short to be exact — on her May rent payment and also defaulted on the terms and conditions of her lease. Now the landlord is seeking June rent and $2,500 in eviction fees and damages. A neighborhood source told RadarOnline:
“The sheriff’s department posted the notice on Kenya’s home last Thursday but she still doesn’t know that she has been evicted because she hasn’t been home yet.”
Rent doesn’t seem to be to only issue the landlord has with Miss Moore. The neighbor continued:
“The homeowner is incredibly upset at what is unwanted attention that has been caused as a result of Kenya moving into the neighborhood. Owners are concerned that the value of their properties are going down because she has not maintained the landscaping, nor the pool, has even storied furniture outside and her dog is always on the loose.”
Well that’s not Gone with the Wind fabulous now is it? Kenya supposedly has until June 7 to answer her landlord’s complaint. Let’s see what she comes up with to explain this nonsense.
