Everyone knows sexism can be rampant behind the scenes, but a CNBC anchor thought putting it front-and-center of your television screen might help spice up your boring, respect-filled life. After all, who needs R-E-S-P-E-C-T in the 21st Century? We could just leave all that women empowerment crap to cavemen who existed eons ago.

Huffington Post reports:

In a discussion of [a] blown call during Wednesday night’s almost-perfect-[baseball] game, [female anchor, Erin Burnett] argued that the umpire and pitcher’s “graciousness” were so “beautiful” that it made for a “more memorable moment” than a perfect game would have.

“See, this is why women aren’t in charge of sports,” [male anchor, Mark Haines] shot back.

A shocked Burnett then transitioned panel, while making a joke about punching Haines and turning CNBC into the UFC.
