When Jason Collins’ former fiancée Carolyn Moos began taking interviews about her ex’s coming out, we should’ve known that it would only be a matter of time before she attempted to claim her piece of the pie. News of Jason’s history-making decision to come out as the first openly gay, active player in the NBA has set media outlets ablaze and it looks like Moos has chosen to strike while the iron is hot. According to her website, she is in the process of penning a
tell-all memoir about her life and the time she spent with Collins.
“Special Note: Carolyn will be writing a book as she reflects on her recent life events about her former fiancé. She welcomes submitted questions from the public about what they would like to hear more on given topics that were discuss [sic] at the surface level in the interviews. Send your questions to email@example.com and Carolyn will review all of them as she begins to write.” an official announcement found on her fitness website reads.
Page Six reveals that the 34-year-old personal trainer has already attempted to reach out to journalists in an effort to gather information for her book.
“I am in the process of making sense of my emotions and on a journey of healing . . . about the recent news. I will be writing a book and would like to reach out to you for quotes from pro athletes, coaches, relationships and topics include [sic] what it means to have a certain orientation and be a pro athlete . . This will just be one chapter . . . but your input is highly appreciated,” Moos reportedly wrote in an e-mail to news correspondents.
