The Do’s and Don’ts of Quitting Your Job
DON’T get ignorant
Please stay professional — there is nothing else that needs to be said. As tempting as it is to hurl insults at your boss or co-workers, do not say anything that you will regret. Let’s rephrase that: even if you don’t think you will regret it, if it sounds horrible or with ill intention, don’t say it. In addition to no insults or putting people in their place, don’t get caught talking bad about your job. At the end of the day, you are a professional who should have enough maturity to leave a position with grace.
