The Do’s and Don’ts of Quitting Your Job

- By

DO give proper notice

It’s time to put your big girl pants on and be professional – even if your boss is acting like a child. Once you are ready to quit, do give your company at least two weeks notice which will allow them to find a replacement without being caught off guard. Even if you don’t give a hoot about your company, think about fellow co-workers who you like as they might be the ones to pick up the slack.

If that doesn’t convince you, think about the additional pay you can receive before bidding adieu to your job.
