The Do’s and Don’ts of Quitting Your Job
DO think before you post
When tensions are high you sometimes have to reel in your emotions. One thing you should definitely steer clear of (at least for some time) is your social media. If you use Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site as your diary – just know the world is watching and reading. You may think that your rants will get a gloss over, but more companies are starting to look at personal profiles before offering a position to candidates. If your diss post happens to come up in a search, you may jeopardize any new positions.
In addition, you must also be careful not to disclose private information as your former pain in the butt employer will have every right to come after you with legal action.
