Evernote Has A Couple Of New Bells & Whistles To Make Life Easier

April 8, 2013  |

Evernote, the free app that serves as your digital Filofax (pictured below, for those who don’t remember them), has launched two new features to help users get even more organized.

An update to the Hello app will let premium users take photos of business cards now. “The app gathers data from profiles on LinkedIn or Facebook that connect to the same email address,” according to SocialTimes. In fact, it’s very much like LinkedIn’s Card Munch app, but doesn’t actually pull info from that social network, SocialTimes says. How much longer before you think we do away with business cards all together?

The other update is on the Food app, giving users the ability to make restaurant reservations via OpenTable.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Evernote, it has appeared in a couple of our tech roundups. More info here.
