Lil Mo Has An Excellent Question For Keyshia Cole: ‘Who Is Your Publicist?’
The hoopla over Beyonce’s song “Bow Down” may be old news, but I don’t think the damage to Keyshia Cole’s career will ever be undone. Sure, worse things could — and have been — said, but after two months in a row of throwing shade at former Destiny’s Child members just about everybody is done with that child.
Enter Lil Mo who recently did an interview with Hip Hop Hollywood. Though the singer’s main focus was on her own affairs, like the upcoming season of “R&B Divas,” she did take some time to answer the site’s questions about Beyonce’s new track. Though Mo doesn’t have any problem whatsoever with the track, she does have a problem with its biggest critic, Keysh. During the Q&A, Lil Mo said:
“I saw on blogs where they wrote up about certain artists tweeting, talking about first you talk about women’s empowerment, now you talk abut bow down. But, (ahem), a couple of weeks ago you just said that was your queen and you dissed Michelle, now… (pause) you know? Why are you gonna put ’em on the throne and get mad when they throw scraps to the peasants?
“Just sit down, get off Twitter. If you can’t handle it, keep your opinion to yourself. Who is your publicist, who is tweeting for you?”
I’m pretty sure those are the burning questions on everyone’s minds — although we already know the answer to that last one. Ain’t nobody tweeting that nonsense but Keyshia Cole Gibson from Oakland, California.
