Prepare your schedule accordingly

Some new positions often give their employees a 90-day probation period once they begin with the company, so make sure your schedule is clear for the next 90 days with no extremely long vacations, unless it is an emergency. Working, even if it means long hours, have to be the priority until you get over this hump.
