Phaedra Parks Spin-Off Confirmed! Bravo TV Announces New Show, ‘Rich People’s Problems’

April 3, 2013  |

Early last month we told you about a rumored reality show to be added to the Bravo TV roster, starring Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s resident attorney, Phaedra Parks. Well, it appears that those rumors were true. Bravo TV recently announced that Ms. Parks will be joining the ranks of RHOA stars with spin-off shows, reports Wet Paint. Similar to Kandi Burruss’ The Kandi Factory, Phaedra’s show will not be based on her personal life, but will center around her profession.

As of right now, the show will be titled, Rich People’s Problems. The title is subject to change, but the storyline is likely to remain the same, which is said to revolve around Phaedra assisting the rich and famous in the settling of their legal woes. A quick rundown of the show found in a press release issued by Bravo reads:

“When the rich and famous of Atlanta have a dispute, they know that only one lawyer will deliver some cold, hard justice: Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewife of Atlanta. Whether it’s friends battling over an $8,000 loan or accusations of stolen Chanel handbags or confusion over a prenuptial agreement and whether it entitles you to two or three live-in staff members, the rich certainly have an odd sense of what qualifies as a problem in today’s world, and Phaedra will be there to help them sort it all out.”

It seems like an ideal spin-off for the mom-to-be, as she made it clear in a previous interview with Perez Hilton that she didn’t wish to do a spin-off show if it meant there would be more probing into her personal life. It appears that Rich People’s Problems is still in it’s developmental stages and no premiere date has been announced yet, but as always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

What do you think of the overall theme of Phaedra’s show? Is this something that you would watch or could you do without hearing a bunch of rich folks whining about their problems?
