Celebrities Mean Business

Celebs are always expanding their brands, which means new shows, new perfumes, new deals, and new projects. Beyonce just recently signed a $50 million deal with Pepsi that will include ads, sponsorships, and more. Oprah’s OWN is picking up steam and now she’s looking to expand to a younger audience. (A bit of an aside: Oprah place as the black woman with the biggest bucks may have been overtaken by Nigerian mogul Folorunsho Alakija.) And Nicki Minaj, who made headlines for her seat at the American Idol judges table, her other TV show, new perfume, her album, and her publicized beef with co-judge, Mariah Carey.
