Lady Gaga hasn’t been seen out much lately, but that hasn’t stopped her from having Twitter beef. After South African rap group, Die Antwoord, released a video for their song “Fatty Boom Boom” which, in addition to a lot of other freaky things, included a man dressed as Lady Gaga, the real Gaga jumped on Twitter to express her anger. Essentially, she told the rap group that “Fatty Boom Boom” was a fail in comparison to her own success:
i fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tIckets sold in SA #thatmysh–
But that wasn’t the extent of Lady Gaga’s sensitive tweeting. Days later, the pop star responded to an interview in which Scottish DJ Calvin Harris kind of threw shade at her. On Twitter, Gaga defended her music and her rightful place in the industry. The two have half-heartedly made up since.
