7. Limit Your Alcohol Intake
It’s a time to eat, drink and be merry – but that doesn’t mean be merry to the point of inebriation. Drinking alcohol can sometimes stimulate your appetite, causing you to eat more. If you must partake, drink a glass of water for every alcoholic beverage you have, or drink club soda or sparkling water with lime so that you can “fool yourself” into thinking you’re having a cocktail. Besides, you don’t want to spend your holidays hungover or make a fool of yourself at the company party anyway.
